This is a 3rd shift position (2100 - 0700) working four 10 hour days. ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform both uptime and down time maintenance function (PM s generated from CMMS) Utilize CMMS with platforms and maintenance teams to identify and track completed tasks. Troubleshoot equipment both electrical and controls systems. Set up predictive and preventative maintenance. Training mechanics and operators on the floor. Early management of predictive and planned maintenance training. Assisting maintenance planners with job plan creation and work order planning. Technical reliability resource for training and utilization of preventative and predictive maintenance. Conduct corrective maintenance work orders (Work orders generated from CMMS). Coordinate prioritization of work orders with floor maintenance techs and Team Leaders. Resource for CI activities across plant. Utilize DACUM s, OPL s .and. red books as processing and training tools. Train others on equipment reliability and controls. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on facility and some line equipment as well as reactive work when required. Train others on controls and electrical systems. Promote safety and actively participate in CHAMPS program. BASICS Perform electrical calculations Identify electrical components Understand electrical schematics Operate electrical/electronic test equipment Demonstrate knowledge of electrical safety Understand control panel wiring standards Wiring and troubleshooting electrical control systems Perform panel/box inspections Troubleshoot, replace, or install circuit boards Hardware: Install and maintain discrete control devices Install, maintain, and calibrate analog control devices Install, maintain, and troubleshoot starters and VFD s Install, maintain, and troubleshoot servo motors and robot devices Understand basic AC and DC Motors Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC hardware (Allen-Bradley) Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant HMI s Software Install, program, and troubleshoot ladder logic (RSLogix5xx) Understand controller communications (RSLinx, Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.) Understand using MASS software Understand basic process control loops (PID s) Configure and tune PID s Other: Understand the Windows OS and Office applications Understand servers and basic networking architecture Use CMMS Understand basic AutoCAD to maintain documentation Understand, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized equipment SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/BEHAVIORS: Understand and comply with the plant food and human safety policy.
