Responsibilities:
The Minnesota State University Moorhead College of Arts and Humanities invites applications for the following adjunct positions for the Fall 2013 semester. All positions are pending funding. Appointment would be for one semester beginning August 20, 2013 and ending December 20, 2013.
Department of Art & Design: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following course: Basic Drawing; Foundation Design I; Introduction to Graphic Design; Introduction to Illustration; Contemporary Art, Design and Theory; and Introduction to Photography.
Cinema Arts and Digital Technologies: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: Public Speaking and Business and Professional Communication.
Communication Studies Department: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: Public Speaking and Business and Professional Communication.
English Department: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: Composition and Professional and Technical Communication.
History Department: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: 19th Century Europe.
Languages and Cultures Department: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: Beginning Spanish, Intermediate Spanish, and Spanish Grammar and Composition. Positions are also available to teach courses in the Teaching English as a Second Language program. Inquire for more details to contact information listed below.
Music Department: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following: applied lessons, class piano, selcted ensembles, and several Teaching Methods courses.
Theatre Arts Department: Adjunct positions are available to teach the following courses: Ballet, Dance I and Dance Production.
Minimum Qualifications:
Unless otherwise noted, each position requires a minimum of a Master's degree, specialized licensure or other special preparation or experience.
