& Major Responsibilities The Manager of the Home Infusion Therapy Pharmacy is the designated Pharmacist in Charge who works online with staff and also plans, coordinates, and supervises the activities of the Home Infusion Therapy Pharmacy in accordance with departmental policies and state and federal laws and accrediting agencies. Participates in the on-call weekend rotation with staff and works 1 Holiday per year on-call. Participates in weekday evening call as needed. May have occasional direct contact with patients.
Plans, organizes and supervises the activities of the department in order to deliver comprehensive infusion therapy services.
Maintains appropriate staffing as evidenced by budgetary analysis and/or program indicators.
Ensures infusion therapy products are prepared, distributed and administered under appropriate quality control procedures to meet legal and professional standards of practice.
Develops and reviews policies and procedures for the Infusion Therapy Program to ensure accreditation and compliance with state and federal policies and procedures.
Reviews Infusion Therapy contracting, referral and billing with oversight from the Director of Business Operations. Assists in the development of program budget. Reviews monthly financial reports for the Infusion Therapy Pharmacy and provides feedback to the Director of Business Operations. Pursues costs savings or revenue generation within area of responsibility.
Develops procedures for the procurement and monitors the levels of inventory of drug supplies and equipment as appropriate to meet the demands of the program.
Responsible for human resources management within the department to achieve quality services and positive employee relations.
Initiates and supports strong, effective working relationships among the interdisciplinary team and providers.

Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. Pharmacy license with the MN Board of Pharmacy required.
1 to 3 years experience required - Minimum one year Infusion Therapy experience. Two years supervisory experience preferred.
